WELCOME TO IHSCA!

Welcome to Instituto Health Sciences Career Academy! IHSCA, campus of Instituto del Progreso Latino, first opened its doors on August 2010 to 180 students. Founded by the Instituto del Progreso Latino, the Instiuto Health Sciences Career Academy (IHSCA) is a charter high school that serves Chicago-area youth, grades 9 through 12. At IHSCA, we prepare students for success in competitive colleges and universities while simultaneously providing job readiness certifications in entry-level positions with higher wages at the healthcare sector.

IHSCA offers a college preparatory and health sciences curriculum. This means that IHSCA offers all the courses that is needed to prepare students for college, including language arts, mathematics, computers, and English and Spanish, as well as to prepare them for a career in health sciences.
