Dual Enrollment

Thanks to our partnership with the City Colleges of Chicago, students are able to take college courses right after school.  

Dual Credit Program

Our dual credit program gives students the opportunity to take college course here at out school and earn college credit. Classes offered are as follows:

  • English 101
  • Spanish 101
  • Literature 110

Curriculum: IHSCA’s curriculum combines the classic and traditional subject matters of Math, English, Sciences, Humanities, Social Studies, and Foreign Language, with a novel approach to career pathway in the area of health careers..

Our environment is not about sitting in a classroom – at IHSCA we welcome and encourage new ideas and collaboration.

In terms of credits and courses, here’s what you you’ll earn:

  • 7 credits of English
  • 7 credits of Math
  • 3 credits of Social Studies
  • 5 credits of Science
  • 3.5 credits of Health Sciences
  • 4 credits of Spanish
  • 1 credit in an Elective course
  • 1.5 credit of Physical Fitness
